WITH MANY THANKS TO VALERIE MILLERHere's a page of stuff that could be of interest to the Maintenance guy's at Ford Motor Company's Chicago Assembly Plant. Some of the seniority heavy personnel will remember this funky publication. Started in the late 1960's as a Desktop Publishing exercise. It's article's & feature's were controlled by a mysterious, shadowy figure, known only as
"The Editor".
Here you'll find just a few of the things he was distributing around the plant on a quite unscheduled schedule.
No one was exempt from the cruel pen, and towards the end, "The Editor" was being approached by those who were never featured in his slimy publication, all seeking their 15 minutes of glory. These are all I have left. These few issues that somehow survived all this time. I believe one is dated as early as 1968.
Left click 'em an they'll get bigger.
THE MIAMI HEARALD
Click here for a link to the Chicago Assembly workers BITCHIN' SITE where they get a chance to air some concerns sometimes swept under the table.
If you have a Miami Hearald issue that's not here, see if you can get it to Jake as an email attachment and he'll post it here for others to see, with a special credit to you.
